A.J. Moore Electric seeks skilled, licensed journeymen electricians for its commercial market segment. In This Role, You Will:

  • Troubleshoot both commercial and retail systems 

  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand or power tools 

  • Follow state and local building regulations based on NEC 

  • Direct and train employees 

  • Participate in the construction, installation, modification. maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, facilities, and related electronic controls and devices 

About You

Though receiving instruction from the project foreman, you'll be self-motivated to ensure projects are completed within scope and are of the highest quality craftsmanship.

Minimum requirements: 

  • Minnesota-licensed journeyman electrician 

  • Basic math skills 

  • Reading skills (basic instructional and technical information) 

  • Good communication skills 

  • Smart phone (desirable) 

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams 

  • Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment 

  • A can-do, positive attitude with a history of success 

  • Punctual and dependable

In This Role, You Will:

  • Crouching, stooping, kneeling, and bending

  • Must be able to carry at least 50 pounds 

  • Ability to wall, sit, or stand for long periods of time 

  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolding 

  • Handling, gripping, and feeling is required for some activities

  • Visual acuity is required on all jobs to inspect completed jobs

  • May be subject to internal and external environmental conditions 

This is a full-time position with benefits, including medical, dental 401K match, and paid time off. Candidates will work locally within an approximate 50-mile radius. Work week is 40 hours with occasional overtime.
